Emily | Birth and Postpartum doula

Emily has always had a passion for children and families, she has 4 kids at home and is an elementary teacher. Through her past and present life and career experiences she has come to firmly believe the most significant gift a child can receive is a peaceful, loving beginning to life. That strong beginning comes when parents are supported and empowered! After considering becoming a midwife, Emily felt doula work was the best fit to fulfill her mission to empower and support parents so they could in turn support their children.

Emily grew up in Georgia, Canada, Australia and Virginia and spent 8 years in Texas. Kentucky is her favorite! She has a bachelors in early childhood development from Asbury University, loves hiking, cooking, reading and traveling.

Emily would be honored to serve your family! She is compassionate, intuitive, and practical. Her goal is to be a calming, helpful support in this exciting time in your life!
