Madison | Birth Doula

My name is Madison Young but everyone calls me Maddie. I became passionate about pregnancy & motherhood through the birth of my son. Some fun facts about me are: My ideal Saturday looks like watching Bluey with my son & in the evening spending one-on-one time with my husband while our kiddo visits with his adoring grandparents. If I could vacation anywhere, I’d want to go somewhere “exotic.” I grew up in a family that constantly traveled but I’ve never been to Japan, Ireland, or Germany. My favorite thing about being a doula is feeling all the parental love that’s in the birthing room. It takes me back to being a child waking up on a Christmas morning. I feel so honored to be a part of my client’s birth-plan, to support both them & their partner through the journey of labor.

A Few of My Favorites

• My favorite snack is chocolate/peanut trail-mix.

• My favorite holiday is “Hallomas” I simply cannot pick between Halloween or Christmas.

• I prefer cold drinks over warm, my water bottles are typically filled with 90% ice and 10% water.

• Books! I’m a big-time book enthusiast, once I start a new book, I have it finished within 3 days.
