I am so in awe of what it means to be a doula. In greek it translates to, "A woman who serves." Being present with families in their most vulnerable, beautiful, yet challenging moments in life is such an honor. My passion to become a doula peaked once my absolute best friend, my twin sister, gave birth to my sweet goddaughter and first niece. I was able to walk with her in such an emotional and strong time with welcoming a sweet new baby into the world. The best thing my sister said occurred while assisting in her first week home was having someone put laundry away. Something so small can set the tone for a peaceful first few days so new parents can focus on rest and time with their new baby.

If I'm not spending time with new families and sweet newborns, you can find me spending time with Jesus and cooking for my husband, family and friends. I love reading, thrifting, watching a good movie, and talking to my sisters. I'm a super passionate Italian wife who loves hosting and making everyone feel at home and welcome.
