Jenni Lynne Davis
Were you named after someone?
No, I wasn’t named after anyone. My parents had several names picked out, and their number one choice was “Amy Michelle.” When I was born, my mom said, I just looked like a “Jenni Lynne.”
What are 3 words that best describe you?
Loyal, Passionate, Fierce (according to my husband, who knows me best).
What is your favorite season?
Fall – I love the cool weather, the leaves changing, caramel apples and Halloween!!
What is your favorite food?
Rice – I could eat it for breakfast, lunch and dinner!
Would you rather be hiking at a mountain hideaway or lounging at a beach house?
Definitely a beach house and lounging...
Kindle or paperback?
Paperback – There’s nothing like the weight of a good book.
If you could do anything you wanted right now, what would it be?
I would skydive if I could choose something to do in this moment.
Do you think you are strong?
I think that there are lots of different definitions and aspects of strength. Overall, yes. I believe I am very strong. I am strong in my faith and in my relationships. I am a strong mother and a strong wife. On the other hand, I don’t think I’ll ever compete in a weightlifting competition.
“Our experience with Jenni was absolutely wonderful, and we could not have asked for a more involved, informed, hands-on doula. We had a unique situation in that I was away from my husband when I went into labor, and my labor also progressed extremely quickly. Jenni stepped in not only as doula, but also as a support person until my husband arrived. She was with me during every single contraction and right up until I delivered our precious child at the hospital. She kept me calm and focused during a very intense natural delivery, and I can say without a doubt in my mind that my husband and I both would not have had such a smooth labor experience without her.”
“During my labor, Jenni worked wonderfully with my husband and my mother. She was a wonderful support person and filled in when either one needed a breather. She was continually giving me ideas of positions to try and comfort measures to take. My husband confesses that there was one point where he lost his perspective and became very overwhelmed and Jenni seamlessly slipped in and talked me through the contractions. I know our birth would not have gone as smoothly if it had not been for Jenni and her support. I would HIGHLY recommend her and her skills to any expecting momma. My family and I will always be grateful for her role she played in our birth.”
